Can you give a better description of the color? And can a box spring be used with this bed?
One picture makes it look more sandy brown-grey but the swatch looks more just grey.
Also wondering about the box spring - would a low profile box spring work?
We were worried about this too as we had brown carpeting in the room and didn't want it to be only gray. It was a little hard to tell in the store because of the lighting. But in our room it is definitely a sandy-gray look and could go either way depending on what it is surrounded by. We think it looks great with the carpeting but I think it would look ok with gray carpeting too. It's a versatile piece. Our room gets a lot of natural light, just fyi. As to a box spring, we just bought bunky boards which were all that were required for our mattress. If you have to have a box spring I would measure it out carefully because you don't want to eat up too much of the head board so that you end up with nothing to lean against when reading in bed.

Beautiful Neutral Bed
This is a beautiful, neutral natural wood platform bed. It was easy to assemble. The bed sits nice and high off the floor and doesn’t feel like you’re low to the ground as a typical platform bed might. No box spring for this bed.

This bed is so wonderful! It's solid wood and such a light, beautiful color. I was able to put together by myself in less than an hour and it looks so lovely in our room. Highly recommend!

Floor Model Perfection
I saw this bed in the showroom. The shag rug, the night stand, and the dresser all together created the perfect bedroom. I couldn't be more pleased! I love the way this bed frame looks in my room. The fact that the wood is so light allows me to dress it up super modern with sleep colors or keep it zen with warm tones (which I have chosen). I also bought the adjustable base and it fits the frame splendidly. The installation crew were able to lower the bars and so my bed is 30 inches high - just perfect for me to plop into at the end of a long day.

Great price, solid construction. My sister pointed this bed frame out to me as I didn't think "light wood" was someone I ever wanted. Just hadn't been drawn to it. Well now I'm really glad I did. The light color helps make my small guest bedroom look bigger (ie, lighter colors, white duvet). I'm really happy with this purchase. By the "full service" setup. It's $99 if you do mid-week and it's so easy.

This bedframe is stunning! I love the style as it's easy to style with beachy, rustic, or modern themes. It's incredibly sturdy and came with wood slats so I don't need a box spring. I love this bed!
