Can you use the bed frame without a box spring?
For example with wood slats or a bunky board?
It has wood slats, however I would recommend a bunky board. We purchased the bunky board and it looks great!!!

The Bayfront Full Sleigh Bed requires the use of a box spring or foundation. Additionally, a box spring/foundation will provide sufficient support for your memory foam mattress.

Looks great, sturdy!
We went with the full size and love it. Bought this bed for our 4 year old with the intent that we won't have to buy her a bigger bed later.

Great Spare Room Bed
Of all of the pieces we purchased from Living Spaces, this was my husband's least favorite. With that being said, we still love the bed, we just loved the others more!
I wanted a simple , white bed for my daughter's room. The bed is well built and perfect for a spare bedroom or children's transitional bedroom. My daughter has yet to sleep in the bed, but my parents slept in it for their week visit and had NO complaints. The loved it and thought it was perfect for the room.
We paired it with a more rustic side table so that it didn't look SO traditional.

Easy Purchase
My experience at Living Spaces was awesome. I wasn't sure what type of bed I wanted to purchase. Nicole offered to help find the a bed. She was a really big help. The bed is beautiful!

Great for girls
Bought this for my 8 year old daughter's new room, together with matching bedside table, desk, and chair.
The design looks great in a contemporary home, the build quality is great - very sturdy, the installation was quick and non intrusive, and the color is perfect in her room with very light pink walls. She loves her new room, and my wife and I can read with her in bed each evening with plenty of room to sit next to her.
